Phase correlation meter with horizontal or vertical bar display.
It compares the left and right channels and outputs a value from -1 to 1.
1 means correlated: left and right are identical. Values hovering around 0 to +1 usually indicate a healthy, wide stereo image.
0 means uncorrelated: left and right are different but not fighting each other.
–1 is anti-correlated or out of phase: left and right are opposites, audio has serious phase issues. If the meter frequently dips below 0, parts of your sound may disappear or weaken when summed to mono.
Inputs
Audio Input (Stereo)
The stereo input to analyze. Measures phase correlation between left and right channels, displaying a value between -1 (out of phase) and +1 (in phase).
Settings
Theme
Visual theme for the meter display. Options: Audio, Control, Light, Dark.
Orientation
Sets whether the correlation meter is displayed vertically or horizontally. Note: panel preview orientation is always horizontal.
